Our famous and exceptional Aged Basmati Rice has at last arrived!
Our rice is hand selected by my cousin exclusively for us, direct from the rice mill in the Himalayan foothills - the Taraori region of Haryana.
We select it for its unrivaled sweetness, length of grain, and fluffy texture. The ageing process makes this vintage aged, AAA graded rice unique; it is renowned for its low starch content and medium GI index of between 56 and 69 units - the same as most good brown rices! It's the happy, healthy, truly flavoursome rice that leaves all other white rices in its shadow. This glorious rice has to be tasted to be believed.
